At the end of July 2024, information material, consisting of a roll-up (2 m x 80 cm), 15-20 wooden-based A5 cards and 100-200 table-top triangular cards) was sent to all participating hotels to raise awareness of food waste among their customers. This material informs in four languages (Greek, English, French, German, English) about the measures taken by the participating hotels to reduce food waste and also encourages their guests to contribute to this effort by making small behavioural changes in the various restaurants of the hotel, especially in the buffet.
The aim is to reduce food waste!
In addition, through a QR code shown on this material, hotel guests are asked to answer 3 simple questions about the food waste problem and to express their opinion on the effort the hotel is making to address it.
