Workshop about Food Waste Management and Reduction Strategies

A workshop for the presentation of the results was held in Heraklion, Crete, at the Atlantis Hotel on 27.11.2024. Most hotels of the project participated in the workshop, while all their general managers, chefs and F&B attended. During the workshop the results of the measurements, the findings from the customer survey, the case study and the new functions of the APP and the Waste Analysis Tool were presented.


During the meeting, an analysis of food waste management and reduction strategies was presented, utilizing data from various sources, including guest questionnaires, best practice guides, and food waste statistics from 2023 and 2024
